Hormone Replacement Therapy, Without a Downside

There is an old saying - "Truth is the daughter of Time." With the advent of the Internet, that daughter, truth, is being born at a much faster pace. One of those truths is the effectiveness of progesterone as an alternative to the synthetic hormone progestin.

Women have been the subjects of a long experiment by doctors and pharmaceutical companies to alleviate the symptoms of female hormonal imbalances. So far the results have received mixed reviews.

Hormone replacement therapy or "HRT" has been with us for years in many forms. It's goal is to reduce the symptoms of (the natural or unnatural) hormonal imbalances that happen to women as they age. Estrogen replacement has been the main focus of most of the research.
Recently HRT and Estrogen Replacement therapy (ERT) have been under intense scrutiny. The side effects can be as bad as the symptoms or worse, even life threatening. Most treatments prescribed by doctors are interventionist - they do nothing more than suppress symptoms, never getting to the causes. Worse, they often interfere with our bodies natural methods for correcting imbalances. Women still need help, and it's here - in a natural form.
A transdermal cream, PrimeTime Rx is now available which uses: - a plant extract containing progesterone-like activity, plus a small amount of natural progesterone itself, mixed with female specific herbs that have a powerful synergistic effect on women's health.

Impressive evidence now demonstrates that progesterone, progesterone-like extracts, and certain herbs can correct a deficiency, which is proving to be the real cause of PMS, the real cause of menopausal symptoms, the real cause of osteoporosis, progesterone deficiency and or progesterone/estrogen imbalances.

Progesterone refers to one specific hormone-the natural one manufactured by your adrenal glands or ovaries. Progesterone is functionally related to (but not a member of) the class of synthetic hormones called progestin. The distinction between natural progesterone and synthetic progestin is extremely important. Doctors often confuse the too. The difference is like comparing leather to vinyl. Progesterone is the primary building block of most of the steroid hormones produced by our bodies; synthetic progestin is incapable of performing this function. Natural Progesterone has a wide range of positive effects on your health; synthetic progestin has a wide range of side effects with breast cancer being at the top of that list. To make matters worse, synthetic progestin actually lowers women's production of natural progesterone, as does synthetic estrogen!

A low dose approach is wise considering how little hormone is needed to make an impact. By adding important female specific herbs like Wild Yam, Black Cohash, Siberian Ginseng, Chamomile and Burdock root to this transdermal formula, it's reported women feel better overall, and, their skin looks fantastic! In addition, doctors are starting to advise women to use HRT as a preventive measure against osteoporosis. This is dangerous! As stated in Endocrine Reviews 1990, "Osteoporosis may be, in part, a progesterone-deficiency disease". Remember that synthetic estrogen and progestin lowers your progesterone levels. Progesterone stimulates new bone formation. That means that this formula is coming at a very important moment in time. The formula was designed based on recommendations made in Betty Kaman's book "Hormone Replacement Therapy Yes or No" I consider this a must read for all women! The base cream uses only the highest-grade ingredients. Over 1.5 million jars of this formula have sold so far and the word is spreading fast. This product will help balance women's hormones and alleviate many of the symptoms associated with those imbalances. Many women are reporting their skin is looking better every day, and some say that facial wrinkles are disappearing! This is a natural effect of proper progesterone levels.

Drug companies have overlooked progesterone for years, instead looking to estrogen as the hormone to research and replace. Because estrogen dominance is the cause of so many of the symptoms women experience, the pharmaceutical companies came out with Progestin, a synthetic form of progesterone to balance the estrogen. (Note that synthetic estrogen is a major contributor to progesterone deficiency!) There is now evidence that progestin drugs like Provera, Delalutin, have there own set of side effects. But why don't doctors prescribe natural progesterone? It's natural, low in cost and NO SIDE EFFECTS! That's the problem. It's all natural and can't be patented by the drug companies for huge profits. Hence, why would they want to spend the research dollars? Why would a board of directors allocate millions of dollars to develop a product it couldn't patent or protect? If a drug has side effects that would require yet another drug to counteract those side effects, could that mean more profits for the drug companies?

You may ask, "why doesn't my doctor know more about this?" Most continuing education for doctors is sponsored by pharmaceutical companies. Of course, they mostly talk about their own products and downplay, mislead, or scare doctors and the public about any alternatives.

It's becoming more difficult to keep information secret. The Internet and the curiosity of millions looking for answers have brought alternatives to light. Now armed with this information, mothers (and daughters) everywhere can ask more informed questions and demand better research on products before blindly swallowing what is prescribed by their doctors. Remember that "Truth is the daughter of Time." Thank goodness that time has born this truth into the family of all women.
